Born in the small town of Obuasi in Ghana, West Africa, Chef Brago discovered the art of cooking at a young age. Influenced by the simple yet heartwarming meals prepared by her grandmother and mother, she grew up in a modest household where the kitchen became her canvas. Here, she first experimented with flavors, transforming basic ingredients into extraordinary dishes.
With a burning desire to pursue a culinary career, Chef Brago took her first steps by working in local diners and small eateries. The early days were marked by long hours and a relentless pursuit of culinary knowledge. Enthusiastically embracing every task, Chef Brago understood that greatness often emerges from humble beginnings.
Upon migrating to the United States, Chef Brago seized the opportunity to showcase her culinary skills at events such as baby showers, engagement parties, and weddings. Recognizing her raw talent and unwavering dedication, friends and family encouraged Chef Brago to open a restaurant. Teaming up with her husband, a network engineer, she began exhibiting her culinary art at one of the largest farmers' markets in the DMV area. Their food products also found their way into retail stores across the DMV.
Chef Brago's culinary journey continued to ascend as she worked in various kitchens, each experience adding layers of expertise to her evolving repertoire. Despite facing challenges, Chef Brago persevered, fueled by an unyielding passion for creating culinary magic.
